Roundtable end-of-year Potluck
To close the Roundtable series for this year, we have a potluck on December 21, 2005. There were about 39 Roundtablers, and marvellous food ranging from sandwich prepared by Hee Jung, Phillipino lunpia, rujak kikil ala Surabaya, chocolates of any shapes and sizes, nasi begana, different softdrinks and so many others.
We started the joyful session by thanking everyone for the active participation in the roundtables, as participants as well as facilitators. We also made use of the gathering also to evaluate the series and plan ahead for 2006. Now we have a list of topics for a year long. This would really make things easier for the coming year, since we got the list of what the audience really wanted.
We will start the RTD round of 2006 on January 11, with the topic of 'Teaching English through Broadcasting Media' that will be facilitated by Kevin Dalton from Kang Guru, IALF, the Australian Language Foundation. It is a very interesting topic and inviting IALF to facilitate is a real move to promote cooperation between oranizations.
Mike McCoy participated in the Potluck gathering:
Mrs. Hee Jung Devlin were also getting so popular among the Roundtablers:
So, not only the Fellows, but also their spouses were actively involved in the programs.
